Heartrate Comparison from a training run and a race
Here is my heart rate for the McAllen Marathon that I used as a training on Dec 11, 2011
Here is the one from Houston Marathon Jan 15, 2012 almost a month from McAllen I should have been able to run 5:38-5:40, but the concrete in Houston trashed my legs by mile 12. I posted the comparison because everyone asked me why didn't I run between 2:28-2:34. So I decided to post my heart rate of the two marathon in less than 34 days, I couldn't have been glycogen depleted by 12 miles, I should've DNF, but I've never dropped out of a race so I decided to finish it.

That's an awesome report! For no real marathon training um that is killer! I know that feeling when you look down at your legs and think WTF are you two doing? Go faster bitches! lol.
Oh on the contact thing. That is my race nightmare! That could have played a bigger part in how you felt too.
one more thing..lol..One of my friends was trained for a 2:14 and did 2:28 in the trials on Saturday. Talk about pissed!
You did great! Love the blog, as always!
Laura: lol @ your first comment
I'm barely getting another contact and I freaking hate it! Even the optometrist told how the heck did I run like that!
I would be pissed my friend ran a 1:02 half and then ran a 2:20 something....
thanks for your kind words!
